Bioanalytical Systems CV-37 Voltammograph Overview

The BAS model CV-37/CV-47 Voltammograph is an electrochemical electronics unit capable of generating linear ramps and simple pulse potential waveforms across electrode-solution interface and monitoring and amplifying the current resulting from subsequent electrochemical reduction-oxidation process. This instrument, when coupled with an appropriate electrochemical cell, can be used for a variety of electroanalytical techniques. Qualitative information of redox behavior by stationary electrode voltammetry (SEV) or cyclic voltammetry (CV) is easily accomplished using the CV-37 controller. Highly sensitive quanititative results can be obtained by using anodic or cathodic stripping voltammetry. A recent application of electrochemistry and one of the major reasons for developing this instrument is for in-vivo monitoring of neurochemically important compounds.
The Bioanalytical Systems CV-37 Voltammograph may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
