The Gentec-EO TPM-300/TPM-300CE Laser Power Meter a robust, economy workhorse for laser power measurement. TPM-300/TPM-300CE is portable, accurate, easy to use and tough. It has a rugged metal case and good EMI/RFI insensitivity.
This versatile monitor comes with two displays. One is a large 3.5 inch analog meter that is ideal for tuning even from a distance. The other is a 4-digit LCD for maximum resolution when making measurements.
At the bench, use its standard AC adapter to plug it into any wall socket, or take it on the road where the rechargeable battery will provide 8 trouble-free hours of operation. The low battery LED will let the user know before time is up.
The TPM-300/TPM-300CE reads the data in the intelligent connectors so that it automatically recognizes every thermopile power detector head, ensuring accurate auto-calibration. Plug it in and the user is ready to go.
With 12 scales, you can read laser powers as high as 10 kW, and less than 1 mW on the 30 mW scale. That is sensitive enough to require thermal isolation around the detector like that provided by the Isoperibol enclosure. There is a zero adjust potentiometer that provides the control to deal with changes in the environment.
A high-performance, software controlled, anticipation circuit maintains stable readings while reducing the response time to as low as 1 second.
You also have the flexibility of two data outputs. The RS-232 port lets the user connect to the user's computer and the 0-1 VDC analog output is suited for chart recorders and plotters.
More adaptability is provided by the unique pivoting stand that lets the user lock the unit into any position over a full 360 degrees. The user can turn this stand into a mounting bracket for fixed mounting off of the table at the work station.
