Description
This ISS k2 Steady-State and Time-Resolved Spectrofluorometer is used and in excellent condition. This is a k2-001 with k2 FastScan. This instrument is incomplete; it is missing software, manuals, and a PC. ISS is located near Artisan Technology Group and we can deliver the unit to ISS for upgrading or further evaluation if arrangements are made between the customer and ISS. Please contact ISS for pricing of needed components and upgradability. This unit does not include the FastPulse Lasermetrics 1042 WA Pockels Cell Modulator.

k2 is a very sensitive, compact, computer-controlled Steady-State and Time-Resolved Spectrofluorometer designed for applications in physical chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, neurochemistry, molecular biology, environmental analysis, and immunoassay research.

The compact design optimizes the light path so that the sample compartment receives the maximum possible excitation light. The end result of the compact design is an instrument with an outstanding ability to measure fluorophores with very low quantum yields.

k2 has the capability to integrate external devices such as a stopped flow accessory, temperature bath, flash lamp, pressure pump, and a titrator.

The ISS k2-001 Steady-State and Time-Resolved Spectrofluorometer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
