The Acker Soil Sampling Kit is a portable collection of soil sampling toil in a handy carrying case. The Soil Sampling Kit is one of the most popular and useful kits for preliminary investigations. The assembly consists of different earth soil sampling tools in a handy carrying case small enough to be carried in an automobile. The set contains a variety of tubes, earth augers and samplers capable of recovering accurate samples from most materials except rock. Samples recovered are approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for hand operations and is depths to 25 feet. The Soil Sampling Kit has a wide range of application including sampling for, airfield runways, aluminum silicate deposits, brick making materials, foundation test borings, gold bearing sands, clay marl, clay & kaolin for ceramics, sand & gravel pits, moisture content previous to soil compaction, sub-grade testing for highways, base materials for soil cement stabilization, soil density for bearing data, sewer lines and agriculture.
The Acker Soil Sampling Kit may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
