The WAB Dyno-Mill Type KDL Agitator Bead Mill is an agitator bead mill with horizontal grinding container for the continuous and small batch dispersion and finest wet-grinding. The KDL Mill features a slimline grinding chamber with optimal length/diameter ratio. The special shape of the agitator discs guarantees the most energy-efficient use and prevents compaction of the grinding beads. Forced cooling water flow is used for high cooling efficiency, and the shape and material of agitator discs can easily be adapted to the product to be processed. Wearing parts that come into contact with the product are easily exchangeable and are available, also for retrofitting, in various hard-wearing materials.
The necessary energy for the dispersion and grinding is transmitted to the grinding beads by the easily exchangeable, shaft-mounted discs. For continuous operation, the mill is fed by a pump placed beside the mill. The retention of the grinding beads in the mill is effected by means of a dynamic gap separator. The Dyno-Mill Type KDL is used in research and development laboratories, in institutes and in the industry as the standard machine for various dispersions and grindings. The possibility to equip the mill for continuous or batch operation, as well as to equip it with grinding containers of different sizes, is the key to success for the various applications, including: paint and ink Industry, chemical industry, agrochemical industry, dyestuff and pigments, pharmaceutical industry, microbiology and biochemistry, audio and video tape coatings, thermo and fax paper coatings, etc.
