The Matec ESA 9800 Zeta Potential Analyzer is a top of the line, state of the art instrument for Zeta potential measurements of concentrated colloids. The ESA 9800 model features updated technology that prevents the user from having to dilute the colloid system prior to measurement. This eliminate a significant amount of room for error, as well as removes the risk of changing the Zeta potential. With the ESA 9800, conductivity, pH, and temperature are all measured simultaneously. With its ability to take advantage of electrokinetic properties to manipulate suspended particles and measure, as well as analyze the resulting motions, the ESA 9800 offers a unique approach to measuring the electrokinetic properties of colloidal suspensions.
Operating the Matec ESA 9800 is simple and user friendly. Being that it is computer controlled, the fully automated measurement process does not require a special sample cell. Also, samples can be taken from anywhere in the manufacturing process or experiment. This allows the user to retrieve accurate data directly and in real time.
