The Kuhner LT-W Lab Therm Incubator Shaker is designed for optimum temperature control. The LT-W operates on the principle of direct air heating and cooling. For assurance of exact matching of heater power and accurately maintaining the desired temperature, the LT-W utilizes an electronic, fully digital PID control with an incorporated microprocessor. The cooling machine on the LT-W Lab Therm is controlled intelligently and optimized for minimum energy consumption, depending on the ambient temperature and set valve.

The LT-W Lab Therm offers a Direct Drive System, which ensures that the speed of the motor anf the speed of the containers being shaken are the same. This means that there are no belts to break or friction wheels. As a result of decreased mechanical friction, the LT-W Lab Therm produces little noise and less power consumption, which in turn, eliminates the chances for a false reading.

The Kuhner LT-W Lab Therm Table Top Incubator Shaker may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
