RFX-1 StellarNet Reflectance Fixture for VIS-NIR

The StellarNet RFX Series Reflectance Fixtures for VIS-NIR include models, such as, RFX-1, RFX-2, and RFX-3D.

The RFX-1 includes integrated 10 watt halogen bulb with 1 SMA fiber optic connector to spectrometer. Sample reflectance is viewed at 45 degrees.

The RFX-2 includes integrated 10,000 hour 5 watt halogen bulb for best stability and life using 2nd power regulator. Good for color but not as bright.

The RFX-3D is like RFX-1 with 3 fiber connectors to spectrometer each positioned 120 degrees in a circle thus eliminating the need to rotate coarse grain samples. Reflectance from 3 positions is combined using special 3-to-1 fiber for spectrometer.

The effortless measurement for solid samples is completed by placing them directly on the top of fixture. Liquids and powders can easily be measured by placing the sample in a glass Petri dish or sample jar.

The VIS-NIR Spectral range is 350–2200 nm for measurement of sample COLOR and/or NIR reflectance. The NIR provides spectral absorbance signatures for material identification and multi-component concentration analysis using the StellarNet Analyzer Development Kit (ADK) software.

Portable operation for Lab and Field measurements is simplified with lightweight 2-piece construction. The lamp assembly can be detached from the sample platform allowing for compact storage if needed.
