The Comten Industries 94-C Series Compression and Tensile Tester utilizes an electronic load cell for measuring force. A power nut is driven by the motor and gears to apply a load on the test sample by moving the power screw. Force is applied to the sample via the load cell and the data is transmitted electronically from the load cell to a digital monitor controller.

The Comten Industries 94KRC1000 Compression and Tensile Tester may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
