- Precision: Better than 2.5% C.V. from 0.03 to 0.2 RLU
- Resolution: ± 0.0001 from 0.0001 to 10 RLU
- Resolution: ± 0.002 from 10 to 1,000 RLU
- Resolution: ± 0.02 from 1,000 to 10,000 RLU
- Spectral Response: 400 - 650 nm
The MLX Microplate Luminometer is a general-purpose instrument that is intended to
automate the initiation of a reaction, measure the light that is emitted, and calculate the
assay results that are obtained when using luminescence technology and microplates.
The MLX is used in conjunction with an assay method and reagents that are provided by
the user. Depending upon the assay that is being run, additional equipment may be
required for incubation, separation, and washing of the reaction mixtures prior to reading
and calculation of assay results on the MLX.
The MLX Microplate Luminometer can be configured to automate any of the assays described. Optional reagent dispensers are available to support the automation of flash assays. The user can select from many calculation algorithms contained in the MLX Microplate Luminometer, and the results that are obtained can be reported in a wide variety of user-defined formats.
