The Thermo / Nicolet Compass Dynamic Signal Analyzer provide identical acquisition and output capabilities with unparalleled range and performance. The system utilizes 96 kHz, 24-bit sigma-delta digitizers with high accuracy amplifiers featuring AC/DC coupling and ICP type accelerometer conditioning to provide a full featured system with 120 dB dynamic range up to the maximum system bandwidth of 48 kHz. In addition to high performance acquisition, Compass offers 24-bit output generation for stimulus capability including basic waveform functions, swept sine, and random signals. Tachometer inputs enable direct reading of speed and programmable digital I/O capability is provided for control applications.

The Nicolet Compass Dynamic Signal Analyzer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
