Features:

  • 1000 VA(AC) / 90 W(DC) Switching
  • 250 VA(AC) / 48 V(DC) Switching
The Tektronix VX4355 Relay Switching Module provides 24 independent relays that can sustain 100 operations per second while providing a dwell time of at least four milliseconds. It may be configured as either double-pole, single-throw (DPST) or single-pole, double-throw (SPDT).

Relay switches are randomly opened or closed by sending ASCII characters to the Module. The position of each relay (open or closed) may be read back by the system controller. The wipers and normally open contacts of each relay are brought out to a front panel connector. The normally closed contacts are terminated on the printed circuit board at N.T. (Normally Through) pads to allow the user to terminate a circuit with a load resistor or jumper, if desired.

The VX4355 allows the user to control the amount of delay between successive relay operations through software. Delay times from 0 to 65,535 ms may be selected.

The CDS VX4355 24-Channel Relay Switch Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
