This CDS 73A-411 48-Channel Isolated Digital I/O is used, and in excellent condition. It is the earlier model of the VX4801.

Technician's Notes:
The 73A-411 is identical to the VX4801 module with the exception of a different model code, and VXI bus standard v1.2 versus v1.3 for the VX4801. The commands in the Operators manual are identical to the VX4801 manual. The 16-bit VX4801 Driver should work with the 73A-411 and VX4801.

The VX4801 provides 48 optically isolated TTL or CMOS compatible bidirectional digital I/O lines. The 48 programmable I/O signal lines are organized as six 8-bit bytes. Each of the six bytes can be independently configured under full program control. The sense of inputs, outputs, and handshake lines can be set to either active high or active low under program control. All I/O lines are both TTL and CMOS compatible, with up to 24mA of sink current provided for each output.
The CDS 73A-411 48-Channel Isolated Digital I/O may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
