Consistent light curing results depend on controlling the curing process by monitoring intensity. Regular and accurate monitoring of the curing light is critical for good process control. However, the power of radiant energy from high intensity UV and/or visible curing lamps can subject conventional radiometers to aging and drift thus risking unreliable measurement. The ACCU-CAL 30 intensity meter from DYMAX utilizes a new type of sensor that is more durable and more accurate with better capacity to withstand high power UV radiation and high temperature. This is accomplished with the use of a crystal that transfers light energy through a fiber optic cable to deliver light to the photo diode, removing the sensitive photo diode from heat.

The Dymax Accu-Cal 30 Radiometer w/ RCH-108-4 Detector may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
