The SFG-2000/2100 Series Synthesized Function Generator apply Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), a new technique of frequency synthesis that generates an accurate and stable output frequency with extraordinary resolution. The innovative design of the SFG-2000/2100 Series is exempted from the problems that occurred with the traditional function generators. The main signal source generates waveforms including Sine wave, Square wave and Triangle wave.

The Instek SFG-2110 DDS Function Generator may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
