- Backwards-Compatible with Atto Technology 1Gb and 2Gb Legacy Fibre Channel Products
With 4 Gb FC speeds of up to 800 MB/second per channel, the FC-42ES supports the most demanding application requirements, including high-definition video, rich content databases and other high-bandwidth environments.
The FC-42ES takes advantage of the latest in host interconnect technology, PCI Express, a serial, high-speed connection that supports aggregate throughput up to 1 GB/second (x4 PCIe). Software-compatible with existing PCI and PCI-X products, the Atto Technology Celerity FC-42ES Dual-Channel 4Gb Fibre Channel Host Adapter uses the same device drivers as the other Celerity FC family products, simplifying user installation and support.
The Atto Technology Celerity FC-42ES Dual-Channel 4Gb Fibre Channel Host Adapter may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
