Data Translation DT1451 60Hz Image Processing VME Boards are NTSC-compatible analog to 8-bit digital frame grabbers. For applications like surveillance and industrial inspection that require multiple cameras, the DT1451 allows you to software select any of 4 input sources. Images from devices like cameras, VCRs, still-video devices are captured in real-time and digitized into 512 x 512 images using full 256 grey-level accuracy. For synchronizing to nonstandard, non-interlaced video input from devices like CAT scanners, MRI spectrometers, scanning electron microscopes, the DT1451 provides three signals for user-supplied timing and control signals. ALU supports 42 real-time image manipulations including two-frame addition or subtraction and multiplication or division.
