The M2M-VME FBA is a compact scalable system for high-performance implementation of SAR ATR algorithms. This system uses multiple, concurrent, specially programmed, reconfigurable computing nodes (FPGA Daughtercards), to achieve high efficiency, through the exploitation of the unique characteristics of these algorithms. The M2m-VME FBA baseboard uses the 8-port crossbar chip (Xbar8) to connect the 4 external Myrinet links with 4 connectors for mezzanine FPGA daughtercards.
The Myricom M2M-VME FBA Two-Level Multicomputer Quad-FPGA-Node Baseboard may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
