Dynatem DCPU2 Single Board Computer Overview

The Dynatem DCPU2 Single Board Computer is a low power CMOS 68000 based VME module that is compatible with early Motorola VMEbus SBCs. A key feature of the DCPU2 is the Motorola 68HC000 processor running at 16 MHz. Memory provided on the module 2 consists MB non-volatile shared SRAM with mailbox IRQ and two banks for up to 2 MB of additional EPROM. The unit showcases two types of I/O connections; two 6321 parallel I/O connections for 40 discrete lines and two 6350 serial I/O connections for two RS-232 ports, specifically two DB-9 serial ports. The front panel of the DPCU2 has status LEDs including "Fail", "Halt", and "Run".

The Dynatem DCPU2 Single Board Computer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
