CoSystems CoALM-S8PM Sbus Module Overview

  • Supports Dial-In and Dial-Out on All Ports
The CoSystems S4, S4E, S8, S8P, S8PMIL and S16P CoALM-S High Performance Controllers is a family if high-performance controllers for asynchronous serial devices and a Centronics compatible printer port for workstations based on Sun Microsystems standard 32-bit SBus. CoALM-S controllers are fully compatible with all model of Sun workstations that use SBus. Specifically, they are supported in SPARCstation 1, 1+, 2, 10, IPC and IPX models. In addition, Co-ALM-S is fully compatible with SPARCsystem 600MP models and Sun SPARCengine 1E board level computers. A mix of up to 3 CoALM-S boards are supported in any one system, for a full configuration of 24 serial ports and 3 parallel printer ports.

The CoSystems CoALM-S8PM Sbus Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
