The National Instruments Instrument Simulator is ideal for demonstrating PC-based GPIB and serial instrument control. Because it simulates the operation of both a digitizing oscilloscope and a digital multimeter, it is flexible enough for classroom use as well as to test and prototype GPIB and serial applications in industry.
The NI Instrument Simulator (Version 2.0) may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
