Features:

  • Low Pass and High Pass Input Filters
  • Voltmeter Range: 1mV rms to 300V rms Full Scale
  • Allows THD Measurements as Low as 0.0018%
The Agilent / HP 339A Distortion Measurement Set combines a low distortion signal source, a high resolution distortion analyzer, an rms responding voltmeter and a volume units meter all in one unit. The signal source is a Bridged-T oscillator which provides a low distortion sine-wave signal from 10Hz to 110kHz. It has a output amplitude from 1mV rms to 3V rms. The distortion analyzer contains a tracking notch filter which is tuned to the oscillator frequency. The 339A is equipped with a amplitude modulation detector which has a frequency response from 550kHz to 1.6MHz. There are two low pass filters and one high pass filter in the unit and the ac voltmeter measures the rms value of the input voltage from 1mV full scale to 300V full scale in 12 ranges.

The HP 339A Distortion Measurement Set may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
