Features:

The Ametek / Elgar SX Series Power Sources are designed to drive non-linear rectifier loads and meets all the electrical power requirements for the testing of modern switch-mode DC power supplies. The 4:1 (or greater) crest factor capability (which provides repetitive peak current up to 70 amps, depending on the model) makes the SX Series ideal for testing any equipment that causes a peak load on the AC power line. Increased peak power capacity and a drastically reduced package size makes this series ideal for benchtop testing and for use in automated DC power supply test systems.
The Elgar 501SX-14T AC Power Supply may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
