The RadiSys EPC-6315 Processor PMC Module family is a set of powerful new "Macro Components" that utilizes the density and performance of the RadiSys 82600 integrated chipset to bring an IntelĀ® Architecture processor into ultra-dense form factors. The EPC-6315 offers OEMs a standard module to easily customize and upgrade designs and reduce time to market.

For ultra-dense applications demanding a very high performance IA processor, the EPC-6315 offers an 800MHz Pentium III processor with up to 512MB of on-board SDRAM. For applications requiring less power and performance the EPC-6315 is also offered with 650MHz and 400MHz Celeron processors. To maximize data integrity and reliability, the EPC-6315 also features ECC protection of the memory with single error correction and double error detection capability. For maximum flexibility the EPC-6315 leverages the dual mode PCI-to-PCI bridge capability of the RadiSys 82600 integrated chipset to automatically configure the bridge based on the strapping of the slot on the baseboard. This capability allows the EPC-6315 to become a Monarch PrPMC and provide PCI bus enumeration and service interrupts on the PCI bus or a Non-Monarch PrPMC and function as a PCI based auxiliary processor.

The RadiSys EPC-6315-400-256 Processor Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
