The Agilent / HP 5519A / 5519B laser head, which is a component of the HP 5529A / 5529B and 5530 dynamic calibrator systems, incorporates a helium-neon laser with a beam diameter of 6 mm (0.24 in). It has a wavelength accuracy of ±0.1 ppm (±0.02 ppm if calibrated to MIL-STD 45662). The Agilent / HP 5519A / 5519B uses Agilent / HP's two-frequency laser technique that virtually eliminates the problems common to other laser designs, which result from beam intensity changes . The laser head uses a proven long-life laser tube.

The Agilent / HP 5519A / 5519B is configured with appropriate optics and system electronics to build a laser calibration system that meets the unique physical layout and measurement requirements of individual applications. The laser accuracy is ideal for machine calibration applications.

The HP 5519A Laser Head may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
