The AIM AVI429 Interface Module is an advanced VMEbus module for the testing, simulation, and monitoring of serial databus systems in accordance with ARINC 429. The AVI429 provides fully configurable ARINC 429 channels for transmit and receive operation at high or low bus speeds on a single 6U VME module.

All functions on each of the channels operate concurrently at full performance levels, independent of the module configuration. For transmit channels, the AVI429 can operate as an intelligent bus traffic simulator supporting multiple modes of transmission sequencing. Full ARINC 429 error injection and detection capabilities are provided for complete protocol testing. For the receive channels, the AVI429 provides advanced monitor and analyzer functions with powerful on-board error detection, filtering, and triggering capabilities.

The AIM AVI429-32 32-Channel ARINC429 Interface Module for VME may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
