The Elan Digital Systems P222 provides PCMCIA slots in desktop PCs. The P222 Twin Rear Slot Adapter is suitable for wireless LAN applications and supports all major makes of WLAN PC Cards including 802.11a and 802.11b types. Because the P222 is universal it can also support 16-bit or 32-bit PC Cards including Bluetooth, ATA Flash, IBM MicroDrives, DAQ and Special Function Cards. The slots can support 5V and 3.3V Card Types.

The Elan Digital Systems P222 PCMCIA to PCI Adapter may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
