The Transcend 40-Pin and 44-Pin Series IDE Flash Modules (IFMs) are compact in size and have excellent data retention performance. They are ideal for use in harsher, more demanding environments such as industrial PCs, embedded systems, medical instruments, factory automation systems, network infrastructures and other industrial equipment.

Compared to conventional hard disk drives which rely on moving parts, IFMs offer silent shockproof operation, longer data retention, higher data transfer rates, and space-saving convenience. With built in ECC (Error Correction Code) and low power consumption, Transcend's IFM ensures reliable data transfer for high-end computing applications. Transcend uses only brand name SLC (Single-Level-Cell) NAND Flash chips in its IFMs, which provide superior write speeds. Transcend's IDE Flash Modules (Vertical Type) are the perfect choice for demanding industry professionals who need performance and reliability in a durable low-profile form factor. Transcend manufactures capacities ranging from 32 MB to 8GB for different industrial needs.
