The Ophir DGX Laser Power / Energy Meter is highly sensitive and accurate, but also easy to use. It can operate with all types of Ophir measuring heads, thermopile, photodiode, and pyroelectrics. The DGX can graph power vs. time, store energy points, process the data, and send it to a computer or printer. The unit is capable of displaying power in both digital and analog form simultaneously. The DGX features autoranging, and the unit can be recalibrated easily. The DGX has superior digital signal processing for excellent sensitivity, signal to noise ratio, accuracy, and response time.
The DGX Laser Power / Energy Meter has a versatile RS232 data interface which can be used to send power and energy data to any remote computer, printer, or data recorder which has an RS232 interface. Additionally, the interface makes it possible for the DGX instrument to be controlled by a host computer, allowing the computer to control any feature of the DGX instrument which would normally be controlled using the "soft keys" of the instrument.
The DGX Ophir Laser Power / Energy Meter may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
