The Sciemetric Instruments Model 298 Signature Analysis System industrial workstation is a proven turnkey industrial solution for in-process and end-of-line testing on manufacturing and assembly lines. The Model 298 contains a powerful processing and data storage system including a Pentium processor, measurement and control modules for signal conditioning and interfacing, and internal hard disk, a RW CD-ROM, and multiple power supplies. A flexible software system called InspeXion and can be configured quickly to perform data acquisition, analysis, pass/fail reporting, data storage and SPC analysis. A VGA monitor, keyboard and operator push buttons create a self-contained and efficient user interface, fully secured through key-lock access and password protection in the software. The Model 298 also features an industrially hardened, floor-mounted enclosure complete with an air-to-air heat exchanger and power conditioning for maximum reliability in harsh environments.

The Sciemetric Instruments 298PPC0 CPU Drawer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
