The Pickering 40-533 / 40-533A Series PXI Ultra High Density Matrix Modules are an ultra high density PXI switching matrix constructed with reed relays. The range is as follows:
• 40-533A-021 Single 64x4 matrix - 1-pole or 1-pole screened
• 40-533A-022 Single 64x4 matrix - 2-pole

Typical applications include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisition systems. These PXI matrix modules are constructed using high reliability sputtered ruthenium reed relays, offering >109 operations to give maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance.

Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple modules. However, for applications that require a very large matrix, Pickering's BRIC modules are best suited.

The Pickering 40-533A-022 PXI Ultra High Density Matrix Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
