RadiSys ATCA-9100 Promentum ATCA Media Processing Blade Overview

- Local Management Processor (LMP)
- Serial RapidIO (sRIO) Switch Array
- Network Timing Subsystem (NTS)
The Radisys Promentum ATCA-9100 Media Resource Module (MRM) offers high density digital signal processing (DSP) for media processing applications that are needed on network elements such as media gateways and radio network controllers. The MRM supplies many multi-core DSP devices capable of high-speed processing of voice and video traffic. The module may be used
for tasks such as transcoding, generating and processing in-band control signals in VoIP packets, recognizing and responding to touch tones, or echo cancellation.
The RadiSys ATCA-9100 Promentum ATCA Media Processing Blade may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
