The Kontron CP6011 is powerful CompactPCI CPU engine that combines low power and high performance with Intel-M Processors with speeds ranging from 1.1GHz to 2.0GHz in 4HP Form Factor. The low power feature of the Pentium-M processor makes it possible to fit in a single slot and therefore potentially doubles the overall system density. Combined with a high I/O throughput chipset like Intel's E7501 and up to 2GB of DDR memory distributed over 2 channels for increased memory bandwidth, this board is designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding applications.

The Kontron CP6011 also has SODIMM sockets for a better combination of flexibility, capacity and cost efficiency. The CP6011 with a 533 MHz FSB has a gain of 1.5 on the dual channel memory throughput.

The Kontron CP6011 Dual PMC Compact PCI CPU may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
