Features:
- 64-Bit PCI Module With Automatic Bus Width Detection
- 32-Bit and 64-Bit CompactPCI Module With Hotswap Support
- 33 MHz/66 MHz PCI Bus Clock Frequency
- Configurable As Root Or Leaf Card
THE Bridge plug-in boards are available in two different designs:
PCI card:
64-bit with automatic bus width detection (32-bit/64-bit) without hotswap support for peripheral slot.
CompactPCI card:
32-bit and 64-bit with hotswap support with or without rear I/O for system or peripheral slot.
Switch S300.1:The bridge can be activated (OFF) or deactivated (ON), depending on whether the card is to be used in transparent or nontransparent mode.
Switch S300.2:The setting of this switch determines whether the card is to operate in the hardware root (OFF) or leaf mode (ON).
Switch S400(on CompactPCI cards):When the switch is set to OFF, the reset button only resets the card. When the switch is set to ON, the entire system is reset.
Link LED:
There are 2 yellow LEDs for each link. These indicate the link status:
• Off: A connection to a StarFabric component does not exist or the RX input is not connected to a TX output.
• Flashing: The connection between two StarFabric components does exist, but has not been initialized by a root, i. e. it is not operable.
• On: The connection is operable.
Status LED:
When the RES LED is lit, the card is undergoing a RESET operation.
When the PWR LED is lit, the VCC is available.
When the FAIL LED of the PCI card is lit, there is a problem with the supply voltage.
When the HS LED of the CompactPCI card or the BOOT LED of the CompactPCI card with rear I/O is lit, the CompactPCI card is being inserted but has not yet been locked in place.
