The Haefely PESD Series Electrostatic Discharge Testers are essential in any situation electrostatic discharges are possible. An electrostatic charge is created when two dissimilar insulation materials are brought together and then parted. the result of this is an electrostatic discharge, which can pose a significant threat to any electronic component. These PESD detectors are used to verify the immunity of all active equipment. For increased reliability and protection, each PESD tester is integrated with a high voltage relay for contact mode testing.

All Haefely PESD testers incorporate all features necessary of full compliance ESD testers, but in a light weight, handheld and portable package. During product development, any parameters can be manually changed on the control panel to determine susceptibility levels for an EUT. The PESD testers have state of the art current flow detection; which ensures a reliable product and repeatable test results in contact mode.

The Haefely Technology PESD 3000 Electrostatic Discharge Tester may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
