The Ion Laser Technology ILT 5000 Series is a state-of-the-art coherent light source. The ILT 5000 is capable of generating laser radiation in the 457-514.5 nm regime. This wide radiation range is made possible through the incorporation of BeO in the plasma bore matrix, metal shrouds, and unique optical couplers. The ILT series plasma tubes harness the additional gas volume of its enlarged shrouds, providing the user with a stable, long lived, high duty cycle tube.

The plasma tube on the ILT 5000 Series is housed in an all metal resonator. this resonator utilizes a four INVAR rad design, which provides the laser with top notch stability. The laser head on the ILT 5000 is cooled via two high volume fans, located at each end of the plasma tube for maximum cooling after shut-down.

The ILT 5000 series is designed to operate in the TEMoo mode, as well as provide a polarized output beam. The ILT 5000 series features power ranges from 10mW to 100mW, with light feedback for monitoring the lasers output.

The Ion Laser Technology ILT 5500A Laser may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
