The Themis SPARC 8/64 VME CPU Single Board Computer is a 6U SBC that offers a VME64 I/O extended version of Sun Microsystems SPARCstation'I'm5 Model 170 workstation. Designed for telecommunications and ruggedized COTS applications, the SPARC 8/64 has dual Ethernet and dual SCSI-2 interfaces which make it ideal for high availability applications. Fujitsu's 170 MHz TurboSPARC processor is a 32-bit SPARC V.8 RISC design that provides binary compatibility with the microSPARC 11 processor used in Sun's SPARCstation 5 workstation, while providing 143 SPECint92/119 SPECfp92 (170 MHz TurboSPARC with 512K L2 cache) performance.
