  • 4 Digital Input Lines and 8 Digital Output Lines
The Keithley / Metrabyte DASCard 1000 Series Analog Input and Digital I/O PCMCIA Cards are analog input and digital I/O PC cards that you can use with any notebook or desktop computer that contains a Type II PCMCIA socket. The cards are software-selectable for 16 single-ended or eight differential analog input channels. A remote ground sense is provided for single-ended analog input channels. The DASCard-1001 and DASCard-1002 support eight software-selectable unipolar and bipolar analog input ranges; the DASCard-1003 supports a fixed unipolar analog input range (0 to 5 V) and a fixed bipolar analog input range (±5 V).The DASCard-1003 supports a maximum throughput rate of 140,000 samples/second with 12-bit resolution. When using a single channel, the DASCard-1001 and DASCard-1002 also support a maximum throughput rate of 140,000 samples/second with 12-bit resolution.

A 512-word first-in, first-out memory location (FIFO) on the card stores analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion data; this allows continuous conversions at higher sampling rates.

The MetraByte DASCard 1002 Analog Input and Digital I/O PCMCIA Card may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
