The Lantronix LTX Series Transceivers are used to connect an AUI equipped device to a 10BASE-T Ethernet network. The LTX Series can be directly attached to an AUI connector on any workstation (DTC), terminal server, or repeater. The LTX units feature a Heartbeat Enable Switch that is generally set to on.
