discrete surface inspection tasks.The
MAXbus-compatible APA512+ is used in
conjunction with MaxVideo 250 and MaxVideo
200 image processing subsystems for ultrahigh-
speed tracking, object recognition, and feature
analysis.
Full images or arbitrary regions-of-interest of up to 1Kx1K pixels can be passed to the APA512+ over the MAXbus. Each pixel within the region-of-interest can then be analyzed, with up to 4,096 descriptions stored in memory. Hardware object size filtering allows the user to select ranges, thus preventing overhead from unwanted objects. Feature extraction software is included allowing advanced analysis and tracking with a variety of CPUs and operating systems.
Frame-rate throughput makes possible high resolution image acquisition, accurate stepper motor control, and predictive trajectory analysis. Continuous materials can be inspected for designated shapes (defects) without loss of data. Paired with a MaxVideo 250 orMaxVideo 200 which acts as a front-end processor, the APA512+ provides flexible high performance data acquisition and data reduction.
