The cM6x/cM6x Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Module is a breakthrough in DSP technology, based on Texas Instruments' revolutionary new 'C6x digital signal processors, the cM6x/cM6x is capable of sustained computational throughput of 1600 MIPS fixed-point and 1 GFLOP floating-point! With single-chip processing power in excess of 15 times that of any other single DSP, the 'C6x has redefined the DSP landscape and enabled access to an application performance plateau previously unreachable with anything but the largest of super expensive massively parallel computing systems.

The cM6x/cM6x complements the 'C6x's blazing speed with the modularity of Innovative's OMNIBUS I/O expansion sites. The cM6x/cM6x's three I/O sites leverage its elegant design in a modular format, and provide access to Innovative's OMNIBUS I/O cards supporting video, telephony, motion control, data acquisition and more.

The Innovative Integration M6x Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
