The Wescom / Charles Industries 360 Series Channel Banks offer a universal approach to function and design that results in convenience and economy in T1 management. Up to 48 channel slots are designed to accept a numerous selection of voice and data plug-in units in both 2-wire and 4-wire, including E&M, FXO, OCU, DPT, ETO, DSO, 64xN, to name a few.

Design techniques increase system reliability by reducing the complexity of common equipment. Additionally, channel unit functions are isolated from one another, minimizing the possibility of a single unit causing a catastrophic failure in the system. Many special service, private line, program or data channel units will remain operational, even under adverse conditions, with minimum degradation of performance.

Single-ended testing and alignment capabilities include end-to-end PCM transmission and level measurements, complete local VF and signaling tests of a channel unit, and total alignment of levels, equalizers and precision balance networks in special service channel units at the local end (testing requires use of test units and noise level meter).

The Charles Industries 3609-01 Power Supply Unit (PSU) may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
