The SST 5136-DNP-CPCI DeviceNet Interface Card connects your Compact PCI bus computer to DeviceNet. Many third party software programs support the SST DeviceNet interface card for various applications including: operator interface and HMI, PC control, and I/O emulation.

The 5136-DNP-CPCI features an entire DeviceNet protocol that is executed in the hardware. Additionally, it is UCMM capable with Group 1, 2, and 3 dynamic explicit connections supported and simultaneous execution of Group 2 client (master) and server (slave) operation.

SST provides an open documented memory map interface with example C source code and Windows 32-Bit DDLLs and drivers.

As for the hardware of the 5136-DNP-CPCI, it features a 32 bit, 3U Compact PCI interface card; 256 Kbytes shared RAM; and high performance 40 MHz processor with 512 Kbytes RAM, 512 Kbytes Flash.
The SST 5136-DNP-CPCI DeviceNet Interface Card may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
