With its AltiVec vector processing unit, the PowerPC 7410 is ideally suited for signal processing functions and leading-edge computing. With more than 1700 MIPS in a single VME slot, the VMPC6d delivers unprecedented computing power and enables real-time processing of the most demanding data streams. Thales Computers' software extensions to the base operating system ease the development and deployment of applications on complex architectures.

The Cetia VMPC6d PowerPC VME64 Single Board Computer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
