The Pentair / APW Electronic Solutions VMEbus Power Cage II Mainframes provide the convenience of an APW Electronic Solutions enclosure with the easy access of a test set, in a compact, rack mount package. The VMEbus Power Cage II combines a rugged Eurocard subrack with a high efficiency power supply complete with integral cooling. In fact, the Power Cage II is prewired so all you have to do is add the cards. Additionally, the Power Cage II comes standard with an APW Electronic Solutions VMEXCEL backplane, with automatic daisy chaining.

The Power Cage II comes in a sturdy 5, 12 or 21 slot card cage with triple fan cooling. The cages can accommodate either 6U or 9U card heights and card depths of 160mm or 400mm. A 500, 750, or 1000 Watt power supply is fully wired and harnessed to the VMEXCEL backplane, and the front panel switch and indicator light are located just under the card cage.

The APW Electronic Solutions VMEbus Power Cage II Mainframe may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
