Simulates Short Pulses with a Fast Rise Time
Compatible with the NSG-200 Mainframe
Injects Interference Pulses Between the Ground and the Conductors

The Schaffner NSG-222 Interference Generator simulates line interference voltage with a rise time of less than 5 nsec and a low energy content of approximately 2 millijoules when used with the NSG-200 mainframe.

Using this equipment, it is possible to simulate interference due to for example electromechanical switches, interrupters, and circuit breakers. The corresponding frequency spectrum will extend well past 100 Mc.

The NSG-222 Schaffner Interference Generator may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
