The EO Imaging 6008 R4 PCI Dual Target Automatic Video Tracker incorporates five (5) tracking algorithms to determine the target's spatial coordinates: Mass Centroid, allows both binary and multi-gray level target tracking; Intensity Centroid, provides high accuracy subpixel positioning for stellar and point source targets; Selectable Edge, provides the ability to track a specific edge of the target; Vector, provides the ability to track the leading edge of a target; and Correlation, provides high accuracy positioning for tracking complex scenes and target features.

The tracker design incorporates a multiple DSP implementation allowing concurrent operation of algorithms in real-time. The system is structured with an open architecture, allowing easy incorporation of specialized features and algorithms.

The EO Imaging 6008 R4 PCI Dual Target Automatic Video Tracker may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
