STI CM-S11-P safety interlock switch sensor provides reliable position monitoring and safety integration for industrial machinery and automated systems. Developed in association with Omron, this non-contact safety switch is engineered to monitor the status of moveable guards, doors, and gates in protective enclosures. Utilizing a robust design, the sensor prevents hazardous machine operation when safety barriers are disengaged, protecting personnel and equipment in demanding manufacturing environments. The non-contact operating mechanism minimizes mechanical wear, ensuring a prolonged operational life and consistent performance across diverse automation workflows. The CM-S11-P features safety contacts designed for a current sensing circuit to integrate seamlessly with dedicated safety monitoring relays. Constructed with a durable ABS case material, the sensor housing resists common industrial contaminants and mechanical impacts. The non-contact configuration provides a normally closed operating distance of 5 to 7 mm for the on-state and 8 to 12 m for the off-state.
