The Exfo TUNICS-OM is a compact and modular manually-tunable source for use in multi-wavelength test systems. Up to 8 TUNICS-OM modules can be assembled into an affordable single 19" instrument. A multi-turn knob allows the wavelength to be adjusted over 70 nm with a resolution of better than 10 pm.

Each module incorporates an adjustable automatic-power-control diode driver and provides more than 0 dBm of truly-single-mode optical power over the tuning range. Two wavelength ranges are available, 1500-1570 nm or 1530-1600 nm.
