The Aeroflex / Tektronix / CDS 53A-I28 Communications Card (IEEE-488) is a printed circuit board assembly for use in a CDS 53/63 Series System. The Communications Card accepts commands and data information from the system controller and buffers it for use in the 53/63 mainframe. The signal levels, input terminations, and protocol of the 53A-128 conform to the IEEE-488 Standard.

The Tektronix 53A-128 Communications Card (IEEE-488) may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
